Letterpress printing is a technique of relief printing for producing many copies by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against individual sheets of paper or a continuous roll of paper.

Business Card

This assignment was to create our own business cards starting with finding a typeface, laying out the type and hand printing over 200 cards.

Step 1: Pick out typeface, layout type, and lock it up

Step 2: Pick ink color, ink up machine, and get printing!

Final business card

Poster

This assignment was to create a poster using three different colors. When printing like this you need to do all three colors separately and allow for time to properly dry so no colors blend together.
